Printable Hoover School Supply List - Preschool

The Pre-K teachers are very excited to get to know you and your child this school year. The following is a supply list your child should bring on the first day of school:

FIRST TWO WEEKS OF SCHOOL:

Please provide breakfast (if they do not eat with you), lunch with water bottle, and a healthy snack--please no foods with nuts (the lunch program begins mid-September)

PERSONAL DAILY ESSENTIALS:

• Full size backpack (NO wheels, must be large enough to hold folder and a full change of clothes) - label with your child’s name
• Lunch bag & water bottle (label with your child’s name)--water is provided
• Nap time essentials: small blanket (will be sent home weekly to be washed) & a comfort item (if needed) (label with name if possible)
• Change of clothes (shorts, shirt, underwear, socks--will be asking families to swap clothing when the weather changes for warmer clothes) (label with your child’s name)
• sneakers or any non-slip, close-toed shoe (for daily gross motor activities)
• (if child still needs them) Pull-Ups/Diapers, diaper cream, and baby wipes
• seasonal outerwear (label with your child’s name)

CLASSROOM SUPPLY LIST:

• 1-family photo (please label who is in the picture on the back)
• 1-pk of expo dry erase color markers (4 count)
• 1-pk of expo skinny black dry erase markers (4 count)
• 1-pk of washable crayola markers (10 count)
• 1-pk of crayola crayons (24 count)
• 1-pk of baby wipes (if your child wears diapers please provide 2 packs)
• 1- box gallon size ziploc bags
• 1- box of tissues
• 1 smock or oversized t-shirt (label with your child’s name)
• Please give any necessary medication directly to the school nurse. Do not send medication with your child.

We are so excited to get to know both you and your child this year. We are looking forward to a very happy and productive school year.

Below is a supply list that your child will need for Kindergarten.

• A backpack – please make sure your child’s name is on the outside.
• Glue Sticks – please send in 3 glue sticks (Elmer’s preferred).
• 2 pocket folders – please make sure that the pockets are on the bottom and the folder is sturdy (plastic preferred).
• 5 sharpened pencils with erasers
• dry erase markers
• Crayola Crayons (24 count)
• 1 child size scissor (rounded tip)
• headphones in a labeled ziploc bag (no earbuds please)
• a water bottle with your child’s name on it

Printable Hoover School Supply List - First Grade

We welcome your child to first grade. We have many exciting experiences planned for this year. Your child will need to have certain materials in order to have a successful year. Please provide the following school supplies for your child.

• Back pack with your child’s name written on it
• Lunch box for snack or lunch from home
• Headset to use with the computer
• 5 sharpened pencils (please send 2 new pencils weekly)
• 2 soft large erasers
• 3 large glue sticks
• 3 black dry erase markers
• 1 box of 24 crayons

Your child will also need materials at home to use for doing homework.

• a soft eraser

• 2 packs of pencils-sharpened please.
• 1 pack of highlighters-any color.
• 3 marbled composition notebooks-wide ruled please.
• 4 pack of Expo Dry Erase Markers-any color.
• Dry Erase Eraser.
• 1 pair of headphones in a ziplock bag labeled with your child’s name.
• Handheld pencil sharpener with lid.

Printable Hoover School Supply List - Third Grade

In order to help you get started and to have a successful year, I am asking everyone to bring in some supplies. Below is a list of all the supplies you will need. Please bring in all supplies during the first week of school in September.

• Several pencils (no mechanical pencils please)
• 6 marble notebooks
• 4 jumbo sized (0.77 oz) glue sticks
• 24 pack of crayons or colored pencils
• 5 durable plastic folders
• 1 3-pack of post-it notes (3x3)
• 1 pack of black dry erase markers
• 1 yellow highlighter
• Earbuds or headphones
• Pencil sharpener with cover
• 2 rectangular rubber erasers

PLEASE make sure everything is labeled with your name when you come to school.

• 6 composition notebooks **NO spiral notebooks (math, science, social studies, writing, word study, world language)
• 5 pocket folders (social studies, word study, science, reading/writing, health)
• 2 boxes of pencils
• 1 pencil sharpener
• 3 eraser blocks
• 2 highlighters
• 24 count crayon box
• 1 pair of earbuds/earphones labeled in a Ziploc bag *NO Bluetooth headphones
• 2 packs of Dry Erase Markers
• Post-It's (3-4 pads)
• Scissors (1 or 2 pairs)
• 5 glue sticks

No pencil cases or boxes will be necessary. A pencil box will be provided for each student. (** Please no binders **)
